Coward/ Sap Split
Coward / Sap split 12" (Little Deputy) The biggest, burliest and harriest band on Little Deputy. The complete and total fierceness of the Man is the Bastardesque sound is intimately linked with its enormous reliance on structure. This particular recording was conceived and executed as one whole composition complete with intro and epilogue. When it was performed live those who dared gaze upon them as the sort of mini powerviolence rock opera unfolded, were left not only half deaf from the actual wall of amps that backed up the band...they were also left wondering where the hell did these guys come from? The answer is Milwaukee. The other side of the record has Sap on it who members of went on to play in Tune in Tokyo and Society of Friends. The covers are a little banged up but the vinyl will fuck you up.
