That their name sounds crazy is for sure and this MCD proves that also the band behind this name must be crazy! "Lighting up the night sky" is a 3" CD packed in a DVD case. Costa's Cake House improved their own style and this new releases is their best record so far. They sound like an evil bastard of hardcore and metal. Black Metal meets Mosh, they change between metallic guitar riffs and heavy mosh attacks. The singer is screaming his lungs out and sometimes he grunts like George Fisher. It's a pity that there are just 3 songs on that CD. The songs "Lügen" and "Mythos der ewigen Jugend" have German lyrics and are the way I described their sound before. Each one begins with a short clip where a man is talking about the forbiddingly behavior of big concerns. The lyrics are society critical and also personal. The third song is something special, it contents of harmonic guitar rhythms and smooth singing but this melodic song is constantly interrupted by desperately screaming and the known metal guitars and in the end with nice guitar solos.
