Broken circle
A storm within

When I got this I started reading the bio sheet... "From the ashes of bands like Set Aside and Indicate, a new band from Utrecht, on a new label (Crash Landing Records), they play "metallic old school"... hmmm. I popped it into my cd-player and was blown away instantly. This stuff is good! A more or less old school sound is mixed with some heavy breakdowns every now and then, and the vocals are a mix of clear vocals and heavily distored morning again style vocals. This might sound like a weird combination, but believe it or not, this works! At least it worked for me. This weird combination makes it little hard to compare, the only band I can think of that resembles Broken Circle is The Comeback Kid. But Broken Circle take this mix of old school and more heavy metallic parts to a new, more extreme level. I encourage everone who likes hardhitting, aggressive hardcore to check out Broken Circle!
